México is one of the countries with the greatest diversity of flora, fauna and culture in the world.  The conservation of its biodiversity is very important given that one-third of its vertebrate species and almost half its plants species are endemic to México and exist in no other place in the world.  If they disappear from México, the whole world will lose them.  Unfortunately, many of them are in danger of extinction due to the loss of their forest habitats.

On the other hand, the communities that live within the rural natural areas, on which the ecological stability of the whole country depends, find themselves trapped in poverty and economic marginalization due to a lack of sustainable economic opportunities. The promotion of organized communities that determine their own form of development based in the conservation of the natural wealth of Guanajuato is the primary objective of our work.
