Who we are
We are a civil non-profit organization
founded in 1998 and staffed by a group of young professionals dedicated to
the promotion of sustainable development in the state of Guanajuato.
Our mission is to “promote communities that are conscious of the
wealth of their environment and work to improve their quality of life and
their environment". |

Since 1997 we have realized significant milestones in terms of management and training in four specific areas: community organizing, environmental education, economic development projects, restoration of rivers and investigation of the flora and fauna of the Sierra de Santa Rosa, which comprises 20 rural communities. We provide consulting services to different groups in the private and public sectors including: evaluation and design of programs for the management of natural areas, studies of flora and fauna, executive projects and evaluation of environmental impact and bioremediation. (see more)

The CEDA (by its initials in Spanish) is located in a natural setting and serves as a base for education about the region’s natural wealth and the conservation of it. At the center, experiencial outdoor training courses are given so as to develop skills in the tourism sector such as hiking, outdoor photography and observation of flora and fauna. (see more)
